GaREE ALL is a multi-disciplinary artist and technologist who came to music relatively recently. For years he worked as a professional in both the corporate and academic worlds.
Decades ago, GaREE ALL was a high school dropout. For many, that’s the end of the line. However, the enterprising young talent turned things around, eventually earning his Ph.D from the University of Illinois. From there he went on to teach at the university level before eventually working and retiring as an IT manager.
Again, that is where the story ends for some. However, GaREE ALL had other plans. Retirement was merely a launching pad for his next adventure, this time as an artist and content creator.

South Florida’s resident spoken-word poet philosopher returns with a message of unity and compassion. GaREE ALL is a singer, songwriter, former professor, and retired IT manager. For the past three years, the independent recording artist has been publishing his poems and songs via all major streaming services, as well as his own YouTube channel.

GaREE ALL is a poet, a philosopher, educator, and artist. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember the singer-songwriter from his singles “Mother Tough” and “Defund Speed Traps“. His sound pairs witty beat-poetry observations on life in the modern world with lo-fi alt-folk, pop, and hip-hop tunes.
Now living in Florida and New York City, GaREE ALL has worn a lot of hats in his day. He was a high school dropout who turned his life around, went back to school and earned a PhD. He then became a university professor before eventually transitioning to the corporate world to work and ultimately retire as an IT manager.

The performance was recorded live on Valentine’s Day night at the Arts Garage in Delray Beach, Florida. In the clip we see the bearded singer on stage with his ukulele and a big straw hat. He addresses the audience and then offers a free-form treatise on the proper way to treat the fairer sex.

A funky and low-key 70’s jazz groove introduces the track as the rapper steps to the mic. He drops an anti-traffic stop manifesto with a smooth beat-poet rhythm. It’s a fun rant dotted with clever twists of phrase and a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun.
